On 7-8th of April, SK Rimbaan participated in the English Support Competition which was held at SK Menumpang, Kuala Penyu. Five pupils sent as representatives for our school to participated in various activities such as Public Speaking, Storytelling, Spelling Competition, Karaoke and Action Song. The representatives chosen were the winners of our school level competition which was held two weeks earlier. Congratulations and well done for those who participated in the competition, Tennyson (year 4), Winnie (year 4), Wazirah (year 6), Jessica (year 5) and Tesonzel (year 3). The good news is Tennyson managed to get first prize for Public Speaking while Winnie got second prize for Storytelling. Both of them will represent the Pekan Zone to compete at District Zone, later at Menumbok. Good luck for them! Thanks to all the teachers, especially the Headmistress, Mrs.Rusiah for their endless support during the competition. Next year, SK Rimbaan will be the host for the competition and we will make sure more of our pupils will win it.
Pada 1 April yang lepas, SK Rimbaan telah mengadakan mesyuarat agung PIBG bagi tahun 2010. Mesyuarat dihadiri oleh wakil daripada Pejabat Pelajaran Daerah, gurubesar Pn. Rusiah Bilang, YDP PIBG bagi penggal yang lepas, En. Jipil, ibu bapa dan guru-guru SK Rimbaan. Mesyuarat pada sebelah petang itu diadakan secara sederhana dan AJK PIBG yang baru telah dilantik pada hari itu. Tahniah diucapkan kepada ibu bapa dan guru-guru yang dilantik sebagai AJK. Diharap dapat melaksanakan tugas dengan komited bagi memastikan kebajikan murid-murid SK Rimbaan terjamin.
